The same void, cut as a Victorian engraving. White line on black, the Milky Way cutting across the plate on a diagonal, orbit diagrams and star charts set out along a single vertical axis. The same drawing as the medium, printed onto the smaller body.

I. Leather made for print

Vegan PU with a real grain, chosen because UV ink cures down into it instead of sitting on top as a film.

II. One card, one bag

The drawing is never tiled or repeated. Each panel is a single continuous reading of the card.

III. Stitched where it pulls

Each strap tab is stitched around and held by two rivets, at the point that takes the weight.

IV. Hardware that dulls, not flakes

Antiqued gold rings and rivets that wear in rather than chipping in the first month.

Printed into it. The vegan leather surface is made for print, so the UV ink cures down into the grain rather than sitting on top as a film. That is why it does not peel at the edges.

Only the drawing style. Every edition of a card carries the same figure and the same meaning, drawn once as a flat tarot card, once as a manuscript page, once as a pen and ink plate, once as a painting.
